Eldy Salino Gabeligno is widely called by his friends and relatives as “Jonjon”. A resident of Barangay Poblacion, Alegria, Surigao del Norte, Jonjon is running for the first time as the SB member of the said municipality under the Liberal Party – Partido Padajun Surigao banner. But who is Eldy a.k.a Jonjon Gabeligno?
As far as we knew, Jonjon is a farmer and a businessman. Some details of Jonjon are presented in one of his political poster. Accordingly, he is a son of Mr. Elpedio “Ediong” Agcol Gabeligno and Mrs. Erlinda “Erlie” Abron Salino. Jonjon is the husband of Mr. Arlyn Pasia-Gabeligno, the current Municipal Social Worker and Development Office of Alegria, Surigao del Norte. Jonjon has a degree course on Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology at Surigao del Norte School of Arts and Trade (SNSAT), which is now the Surigao del Norte State College of Technology (SSCT) with main campus at Surigao City.
